My girlfriend wanted a hat for the upcoming rodeo season so we decided to visit The Hat Store. We had an awesome experience, they answered all our questions thoughtfully and completely and helped us find a hat in our budget. They took their time to shape our hat the exact way my girlfriend wanted it. Couldn't be happier with our purchase. We will definitely go back for our hat needs in the future.

My family father knew Gary for years. So when it was time to replace my hat that my father gave me. I knew Gary was the best, to point me in the direction of the right hat that my late father would have approved. That was in 2008. I just went back and got another one this last week. I was greeted by some nice gentleman as soon as I walked in, I saw Gary and said hello, told him I needed a new hat in a different color, again Gary pointed me in the right direction gave me options showed me multiple hats. I picked one and he shaped it up for me, he cleaned my old hat also while i was there, I was introduced to the other gentleman working there all were very nice and we had a great conversations while I was there waiting on my hats. This is the place to go for any kind of hat, if they don’t it they can sure try to get it. I highly recommend The Hat Store

I was recently in Houston for the first time and decided to kick the tires on getting a hat. Whilst inside perusing all of the options I was asked by multiple employees if I needed any help. After refusing all the offers I did eventually approach Heather. I let her know I was as green as they come and I was interested in a white hat. Heather explained to me all about the X's and why it would be difficult to find a white hat. After refusing my tip for her troubles she called over Joe W. who gave me my head size and shape. Even after this they both still refused to allow me to tip them for their time spent on me. I gave them my word that when I do pull the trigger on a hat it will be from them. If you are anywhere in the area, and even remotely interested in a hat please stop by this store.

Son was in from outta town and wanted a hat, so here we are. Walked in and the team made us feel welcome and comfortable. Walked us through the differences in hats and helped guide him into his selection. After we got the right size and color, Gary worked with my son over the whole shaping and customization process. He talked about hat care and etiquette. The man knows his craft! Thanks to the folks at the Hat Store for a memorable experience and a wonderful hat.

Went yesterday to get my daughter a hat. She has a very small head so we knew it would be a challenge. The young guy was not helpful at all. Seemed like we were a bother to him. We drove over an hour from out by Kenefick. We will definitely be making the drive to College Station to Catalina Hatters as we usually do. We figured we would give a place closer a chance. They also do not sell all the hats they show online in store. They have a small selection. Also noticed a review that he wanted a Stetson. Well they still have the neon sign up insinuating they sell them. Oneay consider this false advertisement and a way to lure you in. Reply to owner: we never mentioned to him about my husband wanting a felt. That was a conversation between myself and my daughters. I let him know hats are not my forte and I needed to get with my husband about the one for our daughter. Due to his attitude is what made us go back to Catalina Hatters for one for her where they were extremely helpful. As for large selection of straw hats, you have one rack and I was never told that more we're coming in. I never said I was bringing in my husband as the customer service really was not there and we had/have no plans of returning.

We came back to the store four years later. Everything is still the same, friendly people and good service. Only difference is that the business has been sold to another family four years ago. The new owners are good people. Anyway, it still worths your time and money. ———————Update———————- A historic store. Amazing people and service. Guys are so patient even though you just want to try some hats. Free adjustments and golden initial printing. Worth your time and money.
